The country’s largest substation, 500/330/220/10 kV, the strategically important “Absheron” substation was completely rebuilt. As a result, it was possible to increase the load-bearing capacity of the substation, increase the reliability and stability of the electricity supply, reduce losses and implement innovative solutions that meet modern standards. The installation of modern controls, protective relays and automatic circuits, the prevention of equipment failures and damage, the rapid, selective and reliable operation of guards and the flexibility of operational operations are ensured. Substation management was fully digitized. At the same time, the central SCADA system of the “Azerenerji” OJSC was installed in the dispatcher control room in a fully redundant version.
